Before working at McHugh and Eastwood, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

How did you first learn about McHugh and Eastwood?

Whilst working for Brambles International Freight, I was shown an advertisement for M&E in the Daily Commercial news, I wasn’t looking, was brought to my attention by Allan Baker as it was in Geelong.

How do you balance your career at ME and family?

Many times my kids are drawing on the floor at the office whilst I worked, a win-win

How has ME helped you in your career development?

I had no idea what I wanted to do, was going to be a school teacher until I found a career in Customs clearance that I thoroughly enjoyed once the penny dropped

What drew you to McHugh and Eastwood originally? And how has ME changed since?

The Geelong location and from a small 5 person Customs Agency with manual lodgements of Customs Entries in 1985.

What have you gained from working at ME?

Weight and a coronary stent

Any random facts you could share with us?

Lizards do not have lips

What is your proudest moment at McHugh and Eastwood?

The call I received to advise I passed the National Exam (first attempt)

What is your role at ME?

Customs Manager and chief bottle washer

Any favorite line from a movie?

He’s not the Messiah, he’s a very naughty boy

Are you messy or organized? Organised

Best vacation you’ve been to? Hong Kong Derby Day

Describe what you were like at age 10. Mum said I was fairly helpful
Do you have a favorite newspaper, blog? Geelong Advertiser
Do you have a favorite quote? Keep the high balls low

– Favorite travel spot? Darwin, Gold Coast, any city with a Greyhound Track
